Hot Yoga

Bikram yoga aim is toward general wellness and claims the heated studio facilitates deeper stretching, injury prevention, and stress and tension relief. Bikram yoga is claimed to systematically stimulate and restore health to every muscle, joint, and organ of the body.

The class will be an hour and a half of standing and mat yoga at as hot of a temperature as we can get it (aiming for 105 but we’ll see how that goes!). For those who have tried Bikram before and loved it- fantastic! This class is comprised of the same 26 postures as well as variations and modifications for some of the asanas. For those who may not have loved it the first time around- great! Come try the same postures again but with room to play- it’s just yoga, it’s about what feels right for you, and it should be fun! And for those who have never tried it- fabulous! Get ready to detoxify, strengthen, stretch, and breath your way into amazing new places! Bring a towel, water, and a yoga mat if you have one (there will be some available to borrow as well if you don’t have your own).
